Dubner Moderne a le plaisir d'annoncer une nouvelle exposition individuelle de l'artiste iranien Mahmoud Hamadani, du 9 mai au 1er juillet 2017 intitulé "Fugues". Le vernissage et apéritif aura lieu mercredi 17 mai dès 18h en présence de l'artiste.
Faisant une chronique de l'émergence de la forme, du caractère et du langage, Fugues, est une exposition, de dessin fait à l'encre sur papier, de l'artiste iranien Mahmoud Hamadani. Les œuvres, principalement de sa série Requiem, coulent avec une perspective vers des horizons abstraits émanent des petites structures calligraphique qui sont inextricablement liées dans la mélodie de ses compositions. Cette série d'œuvres et l'exposition dans l'ensemble, reflètent les expériences poétique et mathématique qui ont marqué sa création artistique. C'est donc avec grand plaisir que cette exposition présentera des œuvres de ses séries Requiem, Odes et Traces.
Né en 1958 à Rasht en Iran, l'œuvre de Hamadani a été beaucoup exposée aux USA, au Moyen Orient et ses dessins se trouvent notamment dans la collection permanente du British Museum à Londres et au Metropolitan Museum of Art à New York.

Dubner Moderne is pleased to announce a new solo exhibition, "Fugues" by the Iranian artist Mahmoud Hamadani from May 9th until July 1st 2017. The vernissage and cocktail will take place on Wednesday May 17th from 18h in the presence of the artist.
Chronicling an emergence of form, character and language, Fugues is an exhibition of ink on paper drawings by the Iranian born artist Mahmoud Hamadani. The works, mostly from his Requiem series, flow with perspective, successively intertwining short calligraphic structures, into melodic shapes that move towards abstract horizons. This series of works and the exhibition as a whole reflect the poetic and mathematical experiences that have shaped his artistic statement. It is therefore with great pleasure that we will be presenting works from his "Requiem", "Odes" and "Traces" series.
Born in 1958 in Rasht, Iran, Hamadani's work has been extensively exhibited throughout the US and the Middle East and his works can be found in the permanent collection of British Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
